RALPH IMPERATO M.D.

Ralph Imperato, M.D., of New Rochelle, NY, (formerly of Pelham Manor) died May 20, 2004. He was 95. Dr. Imperato was born January 30, 1909 in New York City to Julius and Grace (Sorrentino) Imperato. He graduated from Fordham University and St. Louis University School of Medicine. He was a respected and beloved physician. Dr. Imperato was a WWII Army Veteran stationed in the Pacific and was discharged as a Captain. In 1942, he married Edna Santini in New York City. Dr. Imperato is survived by his two children, Ralph E. Imperato and his wife Joan of Houston, Texas and Georgina Curley and her husband Kevin of Pelham, NY, his six grandchildren, Kevin, Gregory and Christopher Curley, Ted and Jon Imperato and Alison Imperato Brookby, and his eight great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Pelham Manor on Monday at 10 AM.
