RICHARD BACH Obituary

Richard J. Bach passed way on August 29, 2008 do to injuries sustained in a motorhome accident in Seqouia National Park, CA. He was born Richard Joseph Bach in Bronx, NY on May 28, 1932 to Richard T. Bach and Alice H. Stockheimer. Richard attended Our Lady of Mercy elementary school, Simon Stock High School and Fordham University in the Bronx. He served in the Marine Corps from 1950-1952 and attained the rank of Lance Corporal. Richard married Linda Bresloff in 1957, now divorced and moved to New Rochelle, NY where he lived until his untimely death. Richard sold automotive tools, was a master wooden boat model builder, antique car restorer, member of the Antique Automobile club of America, photographer, adventurer, cat lover, and had a passion for making new friends. He is survived by his life partner of 30 years, Anne Bicker, his children, Amy Bach and Timothy McCoy of Scardale, NY, Richard C. Bach and Patricia Bach of Carlsbad, CA, Alicia and George Grenville of Mill Valley, CA and Christopher and Holly Bach of New Rochelle, NY. Surviving are 10 grandchildren, Richard J. Bach, Karen Bach, Eric Bach, Gabriel Bach, Aidan Bach, Alicia Kaufman, Alexandra Kaufman, Madeline Grenville, Charles Bach, Caroline Bach. They will miss Pop-Pop. Memorial will be held at MacMenamins Grill & Chef Works, 115 Cedar St, New Rochelle on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 12 noon.
