RICHARD D. MORABITO

Richard D. Morabito 71, of Hawthorne, NY died suddenly on November 2, 2007. He was born on October 20, 1936 to Dominick and Concetta (nee Manese) Morabito in Jamaica, Queens. Richard served proudly in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He was owner-operator of Richmore Contracting in the Bronx, NY. He was a member of the Hawthorne Fire Co. #1, Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, St. Dominic Council, Thornwood, NY, a member of Local 531-Carpenters Union and a member of the Italian American Club of Mt. Pleasant. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ursula (nee Amato) Morabito of Hawthorne, NY;two loving sons, Richard A. Morabito and his wife, Dora of Yorktown Hgts, NY and Stephen J. Morabito and his fiance, Hephzibah of Hawthorne, NY, one cherished grandson, Dominick Joseph Morabito and predeceased by two sons, Dominick and Joseph in 1972 and one daughter, Donna Maria in 1982.
