ROBERT HARROW Obituary

Robert Harrow of New City, NY died at home with his whole family at his side on February 9, 2004. He was born in London, England on August 3, 1922 to Philip and Fannie (Kramer) Horowitz and was one of 14 children. He served in the Royal Airforce and then immigrated to the United States in 1948. Robert was the entrepreneur bringing cruise ship photography to the industry. He met his wife Marie, the love of his live for 44 years, on the USS Constitution. He was dedicated to providing and protecting his family, and was a Rockland resident for 41 years. Robert is survived by his wife Marie (Guebeli) sons Rob and wife Cynthia of Suffern, Jeff and wife Kimberly, daughters Anne and husband John Meore of Tuxedo, Bette and husband Tim Willins of Tuxedo, Heidi and husband James Dangler of Upper Nyack, NY. He is also survived by 13 loving grandchildren, Robbie, Bryce, Marie, Charlotte, Hunter, Christine, Sonya, Matthey, Emma, Jerry, Jeffrey, Heidi and Jenna. The service will be on Friday at 10AM in the funeral home in New City, NY and burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill, NY. The family will receive friends and relative on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Higgins Funeral Home in New City. Donations are requested in Robert's memory to United Hospice of Rockland. MICHAEL J.
