RUTH A. PILEGGI

Ruth A. Pileggi of Tarrytown, NY, died June 17, 2010 at Phelps Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Wife of the late Victor Pileggi, she is survived by her loving companion, Ronald F. Jewison of Tarrytown, NY, her brother John W. Murphy, Jr. of Colorado, her two daughters, Judith Brown Croft of Hopewell Junction, NY and Victoria L. Jacques of Scotland, CT, and 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Born April 2, 1926 in Amenia, NY to John W. and Beula B. Murphy, Ruth enjoyed a 55 year career in the publishing field beginning in Tarrytown at Scott Periodicals, going to Hearst Publications in Manhattan for more than 10 years and as Director of Publishing and Distribution for Contractor's Register in Jefferson Valley, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tarrytown Ambulance Service or a charity of your choice.
