Stefan Connolly Obituary
Stefan Milo Connolly of Warwick, New York died in a car crash on Monday morning, May 18 in Sloatsburg. He was 40 years old.
Connolly was born in Suffern, New York on February 27, 1975 to Richard and Sandra Connolly. He attended The Project School in Rockland Lake, Ramapo High School and then studied at the International People's College in Helsignor, Denmark---before working for the National Basketball Association in the late 1990s and early 2000s. For more than a decade, Connolly worked at The Turning Point Café and was co-owner of Tequila Sal Y Limon in Piermont.
Stefan Connolly is survived by the loves of his life---his daughters Olivia (age 3); Jayden (age 2); and their mother, Kerri Connolly. He is also survived by his father of Nyack and his mother of Tuxedo; his grandmother, Thelma Connolly and his cousin, Erin Connolly of West Nyack; and by a loving, extended family of Connollys in Tappan.
The family will receive friends at the Hannemann Funeral Home Inc., in Nyack on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

I still think of Stefan and his family to this day. I know he is always looking down on them making sure his spirit is alive and well. He is still missed by many, I will never forget him in my heart.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Stefan's wife and children along with all his family. I knew Stefan from many visits to The Turning Point and have great memories of sitting at the bar having conversations with him while watching the shows. I can truly say he was the nicest and most down to earth person I can think of. He will be deeply missed and I am a better person just from knowing him....JJ

Stefan always made me feel welcome when he worked at the Turning Point and I had many fun times playing guitar there because of that. I was and will always be thankful to him for treating me with such kindness and letting me join in the fun. I'm really sorry to hear this news.

Very sad to hear this. I didn't know Stefan well, but he always had a bright smile when I saw him at the Turning Point and my thoughts are with his family and friends.

I knew Stefan briefly when he was doing advertising with me for the restaurant. In my dealings with many customers Stefan was one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I will miss seeing him when I go into the restaurant. Stefan was taken too soon. He will be missed! RIP Stefan.

My heart goes out to Stefan's family. This is such a shock to everyone. Life is so precious, and fragile. My prayers are with all of you. He was a bright flame that burned ever so bright ~ I am blessed to have known him.
