THOMAS V. PANETTIERE

Thomas V. Panettiere of Yonkers, died on September 21, 2001. He was 87 years old. Mr. Panettiere was born in Bronx, NY to Vincent and Rose Cincotta Panettiere on October 12, 1913. He moved to Yonkers in 1967 from Milford, CT. Vincent served in World War II in Europe in the Army's Rainbow Division. He served a total of 50 years in the US Army and the NY National Guard. He retired as a Master Sergeant. After World War II he worked briefly as a fireman for the NY Central Railroad where he trained in operating steam and diesel locomotives. He retired from W & J Sloane & Co for 50 years as a manager in Milford, CT, Manhattan and retired from the White Plains Office. He married the former Rose M. Goczi on September 5, 1954 at Mt. Carmel Church in Mt. Vernon, NY, she survives. Beloved father of Thomas Jr. Dear brother of former Judge James Panettiere and Mary McCaffrey. Visitation Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass Monday 9:30 am at St. Ann's Church. Entombment at St. Raymond's. The family asks for donations to be made to St. Ann's Church or the American Red Cross.
