Williard Morse Obituary

Williard A. Morse Jr. of Halifax died Nov. 24, 2011, in his home with his loving family at his side. Willard was 76 and born in West Bridgewater, son of the late Edith (Pitlley) and Willard A. Morse Sr. Mr. Morse graduated from East Bridgewater High School and was a proud Army veteran. He worked for 40 years at the Henry Perkins Foundry in a host of different jobs including moulder, furnace room, and night watchman retiring in 2005. He was a VFW member and never passed up the chance to play a game of bingo. He was the loving husband of 51 years to Dorothy A. (Macauley) Morse; devoted father of Suzanne Marie McLean of Halifax, Nancy D. Payne of Florida, William D. Morse of New Hampshire and the late Thomas M., Robert S. and Shirley R.; brother of the late Harold, Arthur, Ralph and Shirley; grandfather of Robert McLean Jr.; great-grandfather of Leah Soctomah.
