Luisa (Lucy) Lagunzad Williams, daughter of Luis and Angeles Lagunzad, was born on October 1, 1928, in Alegre, Dulag, Leyte, Philippines. She is preceded in death by her husband Cephas Willie Williams, parents Angeles and Luis Lagunzad, and siblings Cresensiano, Anunciasion, Prudencio, and Marciano.
Luisa was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Cephas and Luisa were blessed with five children Cephas Jr, Juel, Wayne, Kym and Karen and sons-in-law Setrige and John, daughters-in-law Lissette and Ana; as well as four grandchildren; Taisha, Tarin, Jason and Cristina.
Luisa was a long-time member of the Catholic Church and the Lompoc Valley Philippine American Club. She was a firm believer in hard work, which she showed in 20 years of working at the base mess halls as a fry cook at Minot and Vandenberg Air Force Bases. She encouraged her children to get an education and work hard to have a good life.
Luisa has many friends and family in the Lompoc Valley. Her favorite past time was enjoying bingo where she loved to yell BINGO! after playing 10 or 20 cards at the same time and often won. Luisa would be described by her family and friends as loving, kind, generous, consistent, reliable, having a wonderful sense of humor and being beautiful inside and out. After a full and satisfying life of 93 years Luisa Williams is laid to rest as she is welcomed in heaven by her husband Cephas Willie Williams of 67 years of marriage. She is being welcomed home by her siblings, parents, friends, and other loved ones who have since passed. She smiles on us from above forever living vivaciously in our hearts, never to be forgotten. Heaven has another Angel!
The family of Luisa L. Williams wishes to acknowledge the many expressions of love and kindness shown to them during the time of bereavement. Celebration of Life is Sep 9. For info contact family at 510-604-2253.
Luisa left us a Legacy of Love, asking for so little, but giving so much, gracefully touching the lives of many, always loved, never forgotten.

You helped so many people and always put others needs before your own and worked hard your whole life. You made the world a better place. My giving nature comes from you. I get my big heart, beauty sense, classiness and stick-to-it-ness from you, grandma. You will always live on in my heart, never forgotten.
