Memorial service for Patsy Hailey, of Moorcroft will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2009 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Moorcroft, with Pastor Guille Siegler officiating. Gillette Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
Mrs. Hailey, age 71, of Moorcroft died on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Crook County Memorial Hospital in Sundance, Wyoming of natural causes.
Patsy Ruth was born Sept. 28, 1938 in Wanette, Oklahoma to Hubert and Rachel (Roe) Clark with her grandmother Obby Lee Clark in attendance.  Her parents later divorced and she was raised by her father Hubert and step mother Alma in California. She married Bill Holder and one son, Billy Ray was born to this union. They later divorced and she and Billy Ray returned to the family home in Lompoc, California. Patsy then had a daughter Kimberly. She married John Hailey in 1978. They spent 25 years together enjoying the ocean, river park and gardening until his death in 2003. In August 2003, she moved to Wyoming to be near her family. Her days were spent gardening, playing with her grandchildren and working at her daughter's café. She hated missing work and even liked being there on her days off. Patsy loved the fellow employee's like family and they too will miss her greatly. She lived life to its fullest and helped create many happy memories to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Early) and husband Mike Thiry  of Moorcroft; brother, William Wayne Clark of Lompoc; sister, Shirley Lee and husband, Billy L. Henry of Lompoc; grandsons: Corbin and Caleb Thiry; granddaughters: Camille and Caitlin Thiry all of Moorcroft and many friends who were her extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, parents: Hubert and Alma, biological mother Rachel Roe, son, Billy Ray and granddaughter, Amanda Leigh.
