Patsy Nix Obituary
1948 - 2024
Patsy was born April 6th 1948 in Roff Oklahoma to William Howell and Bernice Cottrell Howell. She called Lompoc home. Patsy passed away March 13th 2024 in Henderson NV. One year to the day of losing her husband Gus" Bruce" Nix.
Patsy loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved hiking, traveling, going to Disneyland, collecting Disney,and playing bunco. She was a dedicated Elvis fan, and an avid collector of a variety of memorabilia representing her life experiences,
Patsy and her husband Bruce were involved in the Lompoc area and owned a small convenience/liquor store in Lompoc, then Mission Hills Market, and finally Bruce's Prime Cuts. Patsy loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. You would see their pictures hanging at the meat market.
Patsy is survived by her son's Anthony "Tony" Nix, Gerald "Jerry" Nix, Stepsons Gus Nix Jr, Tommy Nix, Leon Nix, and Billy Nix. She is also survived by her sister Bevelee Adkins, Brother Wayne Howell, 19 Grandchildren,several great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, May 26th, 2024 1pm at Mission Hills Community Services 1550 Burton Mesa Boulevard, Lompoc, CA 93436.
