Ruth Stafford Obituary
September 17, 1920- April 22, 2012
Ruth Stafford, 91, a resident of Dallas, Oregon, died Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Heron Pointe in Monmouth, where she recently moved. She was born on September 17, 1920, in Enoch, Utah the daughter of Ruben W. and Jean C. Connell Jones. She married Jack William Stafford, Jr. on July 19, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2006. Ruth lived in Pleasant Hill, California before moving to Dallas 38 years ago. She worked in banking for 31 years first at Wells Fargo in California and retired from the Bank of Willamette Valley in Dallas in 1985. She was a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. She was well known for her wonderful and delicious candies that she made for many years. Ruth was a member of the Pedee Women's Club in Pedee, OR. She enjoyed doing crafts and sewing.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela Duke of Lompoc, California and two granddogs, Apris and Cali. Also surviving are brothers Donald (Aldene) Jones of Kaysville, Utah and Ruben DelRoy (JoAnn) Jones of Springville, Utah.
She was preceded in death by siblings Rosie, Nella, Connell, Leland and Frank.
Private services were held. Memorials are suggested to the Santa Maria Kennel Club Furry Friends (P.O. Box 1143, Santa Maria, CA 93454) in her honor. The Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center is handling the arrangements. To leave an on-line condolence

I am so sad to hear of the passing of your mother. She was a delightful woman. I feel so blessed to have known her and to have been the recipient of her delicious candy making talent.
