Carl Johnson Obituary

Carl C. Johnson, a distinguished Army Veteran and Tuskegee Airman, passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 97. He was born in Bellaire, Ohio, on April 27, 1926, and was married for 67 years to his late wife, Nancy.

Col. Johnson, was the last Tuskegee Airman to graduate from the Tuskegee Institute and went on to serve in World War II as an Aviation Cadet, The Korean War as a combat Army Aviator, and in the Vietnam War as a Lt. Colonel commanding the 210th Combat Aviation Battalion.

He is survived by his two children Karen (Richard) and Michael (Debbie); his grandchildren Sancia (Stephen), Marissa (Scott), Jeremy, Matthew, and Zachary; and 6 great grandchildren. A service will be held at his final resting place at Arlington National Cemetery. Carl Croston Johnson
