We are so sorry to have heard of Mr. Chase's passing. He was a good friend and mentor. He always spoke so lovingly of his family and he will be missed.

We are very much saddened to learn of the passing of our kind, generous, and compassionate cousin Arie Chase. Of all the 450 or so living descendents of our patriarch Samuel Gelman, Arie was perhaps the most significant since he was the one who created and put together our relatively new tradition of periodic family reunions. His can-do spirit led him to make the hundreds of phone calls necessary to get this project off the ground and generations of family members reap the rewards of coast to coast family closeness. To write that Arie will be sorely missed is to state the obvious. our condolences to Thelma, Vicky, and Steve and the grandchildren.
