Abby Lipsey

Louisville - Abby Lipsey, 91 of Louisville, KY passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 7th 2021.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband James "Jimmy", her beloved son Fred, brothers Gene and Jack, and her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Sheila Lipsey and Sharon (Wayne) McAllister, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, her sisters Joyce(Bill) Strayer of Arkansas and Sue (David) Lanier of Florida, nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Abby donated her body to the U of L Medical School. The family will have a private memorial.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Crusade for Children or the Christian Appalachian Project.

Thank you for honoring her memory by remembering the WHAS Crusade for Children. Her legacy will be seen for years to come through the lives of children who are helped.
