It was an awful surprise to hear the news, only a few days after I had received your card And long letter.
I thank you for your advice,I will be thinking of you always,I will keep faith and thank you for becoming my guardian angel !

Allan was my favorite boy cousin, and I miss him so much. Tried for years to get a face lift out of him, Allan you stinker, you might like my sad ol' face, but you could have helped a bit! He'll get a kick out of that. This year for my birthday he sent a card of a squirrel eating corn and it said, You make me smile! Well Allan, this time, you made me cry. Tell Mem and Uncle Al I love them. And when ol' Bob gets up there, you can hear him in person. We do love you. Steven says hey, and he sure does miss you.

MY Wife and Daughter have said it and I can't add anything, except he was the finest person I have ever known. I will always think of him when I look at the drawing of Johnny Unitas he gave to me. RIP.

Dr. Stryker operated on my husband's wound that would not heal after another physician turned him away. The wound healed and we so appreciated Dr. Stryker's talent and dedication. Our sympathies to his family.

It is so hard to believe that he has passed.I worked with him for over 20 years as his office Nurse and surgical assistant. He was so much more than a boss he was a good friend and was like a family member. I have never had a better boss ever. He once told me when I first started working for him that the only way I would be able to work with him is if I liked Bob Dylan! I certainly learned to love Dylan. I also still remember the times in the OR when he would play his train whistle sound track that started off in the distance very quiet ...he would tell the Circulators to turn it way up because he couldn't hear it only to have it get closer and blasted so loud it could be heard out at Control!! I ALSO really admired how he cared so much for his patients.I was sad when he left to serve the Soldiers at Fort Hood but was very proud of his desire to serve his Country. I was so great full when he returned, and offered me my job back. Their is so much more I would love to share about this honorable man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and many friends.
So hey Mr.Tamborine Man!
Until we meet again...I will remember you Fondly!

I am deeply saddened by the loss of such a wonderful man. He had a dry sense of humor, but could he make you laugh. He was truly a great physician and wonderful person. I worked with him during his years at Williamsport Hospital and had hoped he'd come back just one more time. There was not a better plastic surgeon than Dr. Stryker. He was truly one of a kind.
His artistic talents with drawings were absolutely breathtaking; It was the highlight of my office visits after I had surgery. My condolences to the family of such a wonderful and kind person. You can be proud that he was your family.

Like Sam, I too was shocked. I loved working with Allen. He was such a class act. Like Sam, I remember most his strong patriotism in giving up so much to join the Army. He represented the best of being a physician. If I told him my patient was financially strapped, he wouldn't charge them. He represented the best of us.

I am in total shock at this news. Dr Stryker was my employer for almost 15 yrs before he went into the service, and even when he returned I did his surgical coding. I assisted him with many of his OR cases and learned to love??Bob Dylans music. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

It is truly a sad day to lose such a respected member of the medical community who was the ultimate professional. He was a wonderful colleague to work with, always willing to help my patients. What I admired most was that he left a lucrative civilian practice to serve our soldiers at Fort Hood. We spoke often about his work at Fort Hood and shared common stories since I also had enjoyed time at Fort Hood. He always said he would love to return to Killeen and I am happy he was able to be at a place where he found so much friendship. My condolences to the family.

Loved Dr. Stryker- such a great man. I always had a flashlight ready for him when he made his rounds, as he wanted to see that suture line real up close! One time I left my personal penlight at the patients' bedside for him to use, and the next day he thanked me for it, and had it sitting in his shirt pocket! What could I say but, "You're welcome"! It made us laugh!

Condolences to Dr. Stryker's family. I was able to see first hand his caring and skill toward patients and families, and his kindness toward all who worked with him at Williamsport Hospital. Rest in Peace.

So sad to hear of Dr Stryker's passing. I had the great privilege and joy of working with him in the ER at Susquehanna Health. I also got to see his love for his family during neighborhood gatherings. Deepest sympathies to all his family, may they find comfort in knowing that he touched the lives of so many and may he Rest In Peace amen.
