Alta Harrison Obituary
91, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016.
She was born September 3, 1925 in Louisville, KY to the late William S. and Betty H. Roller, retired from Fashion Shop and a member of Highview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Samuel R. Capshaw; second husband, Otto R. Harrison; and sons, Samuel M. and William R. Capshaw.
She is survived by her grandson, Kyle P. Capshaw (Ashley); great grandchildren, Riley E. and Parker M. Capshaw; step-sons, who cared for her, Larry R. (Candy) and Stephen R. Harrison; step-grandchildren, Brandon N. Harrison and Kristen H. Luken (Chris); step-great grandchildren, Maxwell T. Harrison and Eleanor P. Luken; sisters-in-law and cousin who were very special to her, Jean Amorocho, Pat Capshaw, Naomi Pedigo, and Amelia Holt; and many loving relatives and friends.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Jane Cornett and the nurses and staff of the Episcopal Church Home for their care and support.
Her funeral is 7pm Tuesday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road conducted by Rev. David Duncan. Private burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is after 3pm Tuesday until the time of the service.
