Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers ([email protected]) is an organization with groups throughout the country who work to send handmade prayer shawls and/or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one while serving our country. Members of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church would like to extend our sincere sympathy and to honor your son's sacrifice and memory by sending our prayers and comfort through a prayer gift which will be mailed to you. If you are interested, please contact me at [email protected] with the names and addresses of those who would like to receive one and which gift they would like to receive. We will send our gift as soon as possible. Also, if you know of any other families who are grieving the loss of a loved on who died while serving our country, please pass along my e-mail address. May God bless you and comfort you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Lynne

I love you Bran Man.
I cry for you...it is so unfair that you did not get to live your life....it was taken from you...you loved life so much...you were doing so great....so handsome and strong....
How has one year passed ...seems like only yesterday but then at the same time like a lifetime....
Thank you for taking care of us this year...it all has been so very difficult but you are in our hearts and with us everyday....
Can you keep an eye on your brother and sister? And, can you help our country elect the right leaders so that more lives are not lost or destroyed by politics and greed.....
To honor you, we started helping with the Wounded Warrior Project -- and you keep shining through all this darkness with honors, tributes, and memorials ..... you're even an honorary Daviess County deputy, plus there is a beautiful marker in Alaska for you, a flag at the entrance to our neighborhood, your name is downtown at the new park ..... there is a scholarship at Apollo for you and there will be one for the hockey league too. And, the museum has commissioned a challenge coin for you - the Mullins coin to go to all of the visitors at the government center there. Your life brought our community together -- your legacy will live on in so many ways with more ways to come.....
I cannot believe you're gone. You said you would come home....
We miss you so much. You are an amazing son and I am so very, very proud of you.
Please say hey to Green for us - we can't wait to meet him.
And give Nanny, Mama, and Papa love from us too. Have you found your other Grandpa? He was there long before you were even born....going to be a great reunion someday. And, thank you for Teddy....he has been a true God send ... I believe you had something to do with that : )
Love,
Mom

Hey Brandon, this is your brother. I was just on the computer here at work and found this website. I know you can't read anything I'm saying, but it still feels good to pretend that I'm talking to you. It looks like you have a few others here that found you too. I'm so sorry Brandon. I really am. I am so proud of you.
You also beat me to Specialist and I joined before you! I'm glad you did. I made my own problems in the Army. You loved it so much and I still have my problems with it. I know it's not fair. That the one who loves it gets killed and the one who gets frustrated with it stayed alive.
We will meet again and we can beat each other.
I love you.
I Miss you.
Next time I'm home I'll come and give you some stuff for your grave. Sorry we couldn't write much on your tombstone, they only allowed us 17 characters to put.
Don't worry bro, the rest of the family will be there with you soon. We got plots for all of us. A life is nothing but a split second of all the time of the Cosmos we live in. And you're basking in it now. Floating through the massive, multicolored, radioactive nebulae.
You've transcended the unknown.
Mom and Dad are doing alright. They still have their days. Bethany is still feeling it too. We all love you. You'll never die to us.
Can't wait to see you. Maybe you could write me up a technical manual for the afterlife so I'm not all confused when I get there because more than likely I'm going to be.
I wish I had talked to you while you were over there. I didn't try hard enough to get into contact with you. I am sorry and it's going to be a regret on me for the rest of my life. I still have a letter that I never sent to you in my car.
I love you.

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. I truly feel your loss and pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Brandon will never be forgotten.
For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I’m home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I’m only a civilian
And I don’t even know if it’s allowed
But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.
For those missing in action;
for those who didn’t make it home.
I know you’re in God’s presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.
I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.
I Salute You.
