Masden, C.L. "Pete",

94, of Louisville passed from this life on Monday November 10, 2014.

A native of Bullitt County, he was retired from South Central Bell after 35 years, a former member of South Park Country Club where he was an avid golfer, a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and an Air Force veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 69 years the former Margaret Partlow; a daughter, Joyce Volpert; grandchildren, Steve Volpert and Stacy Woityra; great grandchildren, Ava and Wheeler Woityra; and a nephew, Larry W. Small.

A service to celebrate Mr. Masden's life will be held at 10 am Thursday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment with military honors will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Wednesday. Memorial gifts may be made to his church's building fund or the Honor Flight Network for W.W. II Vets. Online condolences may be shared with the family at, www.archlheadysouthernfh.com.

God Bless my great friend and wonderful golfing buddy for years at The Crosssings Golf Course. I will never forget all the good times we had together on the golf course.
