Precious memories,,,,how they linger...
To Donna,Jennifer and Quinlan
Candy and I have been friends since high school. I remember spending many nights during my teen years with Candy and family. Doing what teen girls do, talk about our 2 favorite things,,boys and being in our HS Band (T.J) we remained friends through the years but didn't see each other often. I will treasure the memories of a dear friend with a huge heart, golden personality, and strength beyond belief. You haven't lived until you've heard a "Candy story". I love you my friend, may God wrap His arms around your family and keep them in His care. You are at rest and playing with the symphony in Heaven!

I went to college with Candy and although I had not seen her in many years, I was so sad when I heard! We would hang out after classes and I would visit her at Shillito's! She had a wonderful sense of humor and so pretty! I was thinking of her a few weeks ago when I went by Jeanine Dr.. She will be greatly missed by so many and may God hold Quinlan, Donna, Jennifer and the rest of the family close during this difficult time.

Candy, the battle is over......no more illness, hurt, pain, disappointment, tears, sadness.........You are home with your Heavenly Father, your Dad and Mom, they are all rejoicing!!!
I have so many fond memories of us growing up. I remember the time that you brought me home in your yellow pinto and the police turned around and gave you a ticket in Mom's driveway, you was hot! We had a lot of fun times, conversations and good food in your first apartment. You would always let me apartment set for you, not because you needed me to, but because you was just being a big cousin to me and allowing me to feel like a grown-up!!! You had the coolest stuff and kitchen gadgets!
You are one of the funniest people and best cook/baker ever. Even just a week ago, during your sickest times, you still had me cracking up...still calling me "Yokie" From time to time, I still make your famous hamburger pie.
Right now, I bet you are either cracking God'em up or feeding everyone in heaven!!!!

Love,
Yokie

Dearest Candice, I will miss you more than words can say. For the most part, our other cousins thought they were too grown to play with us, so many times it was just the two of us. I miss the times our families got together at Big Mamas. I was most excited when I knew you were going to be there. Thanks for always being there for me. Girl, you should have been on the stage. You could always make me laugh no matter what. I will always love you.

Love,
Stephanie

To The Family of Candice Hagan
When I learned of Candice passing on Sunday afternoon I was over whelmed with saddness. I havent been in touch with Candice for a very long time. But the happy memories I shared with her during the time we worked together at BlueCross BlueShield will never die. She was such a delightful person, her smile and personality would light up a room. She brought so much joy to me during those times. She made my days at work joyful...I will always remember the great times we had and always remember her smiling face...My heart goes out to her daughter, sisters, cousins other family memebers and friends...God Bless and keep you all during the days ahead...Just remember she is still smiling in heaven.....Probably has even a bigger smile now that she is at rest.....

To the Hagan family,

I have known Candice for many years, through the choir at First Baptist Church Jeffersontown and also through Newburg Health Center. I have admired her strength and perserverance through the years dealing with her health issues. I watched as she raised her daughter Quinlan. I will miss her and I pray that God will comfort you all. My prayers are with you all.

Our prayers are with your family, and especially with little, sweet, smiley Quinlan. Our son went to school with Quinlan. It was apparent how good of a mother Candice was. She was always by Quinlan's side at every school event, extra curricular activity, and at every birthday party (there were many). It was a delight getting to know both Candice and Quinlan. Your presence will be missed. Your family is forever in our prayers.

Candy, I heard of your passing this morning and it broke my heart. I haven't seen you in years but I have such fond memories of you from our high school days together. You always had a smile on your face and a funny story to tell. You were such a wonderful wonderful person. My deepest sympathies are extended to your daughter and to Donna and Jennifer. I know they will miss you very much but as many others have said, you will be a guardian angel looking down on all of us from heaven. God has now healed your broken body and reunited you with your Mom and Dad. Rest in peace Candy. You will live forever in our hearts.

Candy was just a wonderful person and great friend, I haven't seen her for a while, but I always thought of her many many times. She could always make you laugh and her smile will always be remember. My sincere sympathy at the loss of Candy. Words do not convey the thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Remember the joyful times, keep thinking of the wonders Candy is enjoying now. None of us can imagine, but I wish for you peace and knowledge Candy is in the hands of the greatest healer. Always enjoy working with Candy at Humana and knowing her was a pleasure and a wonderful experience to have her for a friend, Her friend, Edna

Dearest Ms. Candy,
I am so thankful that the Lord blessed me with you in my life! That He blessed my children to get to know you! I will miss your truly hysterical "Candy" stories. Things that as you said "Don't happen to anyone but me." Like the time the lady sat on you at the movie theater! Thinking about it now makes me laugh, but also brings tears. I will never hear a "Candy" story again. But I am truly thankful that you are with our Lord and Savior now! May you enjoy your new body with our Lord and know that you are gone but NEVER forgotten!

Ms. Candy, I still have the report you sent home from MDO telling me how well spoken my daughter is and what a great job I was doing as a mom. As a Mom, that was wonderful to see in writing. I also appreciate you spending time one on one with her when she was so upset that I had to leave after "Muffins with Mom." I hope Quinlan realizes how lucky she was to have you as a Mom and now as her Guardian Angel. Rest in Peace Ms. Candy for now you are with your savior, Jesus Christ!

Candice, although we did not see much of each other the past year or so, not too many days passed when I didn't think of you and you were always in my prayers. You were one of the best, a blessing to be around, never complaining about anything. Your strength touched me and those around you. I will never forget your kindness not only to me, but to Kelly as well.I am praying for your family to remain strong, s you will be sadly missed. Take your rest. Joyce Dalton and Family

My prayers are with you all as we together, go through this journey of our missing Candy and grieving our loss. She was a very special person and a great friend to me. The MDO kids will surely miss her and all the "goodies" she would bring, just for them. And of course, "Row, Row, Row your boat", will never be sang the normal way again. We love you, Candy, and you will be missed. Hallelujah...heaven is sweeter with you there! Remember, save me a seat!
