Charley Klosterman Obituary
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, a retired machine and tool operator for Naval Ordnance Station of Louisville, and an Air Force veteran.
Charley is preceded in death by his parents Francis and Ethel Klosterman, a sister, Mary Gerard Klosterman, and a grandchild Lily King.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Patty; daughters Jamie Lentz (Jeff), Kathleen King (Troy), Son Duane Klosterman (Lisa); sisters, Maxine Klosterman, Charlotte Dearing, Margaret Rankin, Marie Tapp, Catherine Brock, Mary Yates, Virginia McClellan, Anne Meredith, and Frankie Culbertson; and brothers, Joseph, Michael, Jimmy and Eddie Klosterman; grandchildren Maddie, Garrett, Gabrielle, and Ginny Gail.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30a.m. Wednesday at St. Aloysius Church, 212 Mercy Dr., Pewee Valley with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Oldham County Funeral Home, 706 W. Jefferson St., LaGrange, KY.
Memorial contributions may be made to U of L Hospital Trauma Services 530 S. Jackson St. Louisville, KY 40202

My husband Don and I met Charley over 30 years ago. He was always a happy-go-lucky, fun, good-natured guy. Had lost touch with him over the years. So sorry to hear of this tragedy. Our prayers and thoughts are with all the Klosterman family.

Charley was one who always had the time to stop and say hello when he saw you. He also made you feel like you had been a friend forever. I will cherish the times we did run into him when we lived in KY. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Charley had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I've ever known. He just made you smile to run into him at Walmart. He was never short of words and your conversation with him was one that you were in no hurry to leave...neither was he. He will be greatly missed. Love you, Patty!

Charley will be missed by so many. He always had a smile on his face and he never met a stranger. We will miss running into him at Walmart and the hugs he gave us. I will miss when he would stop by our store just to say hi because that's just who he was. Our thoughts and prayers are with Patty and all of the family during this time of sorrow.

Charley I will never forget the fun we had together as kids. There are so many memories. Keep our mom and dad company until we can all be together again. We will all miss you so much. You were always such a character with such a great sense of humor. Keep an eye out for any Llamas up there !!
