Just wanted to tell you brother how very much I love you. You don't know how much you are going to miss someone until they are gone. And I miss you terribly! I was watching a PBS concert special called Seventies Soul. It was music from the 70's. It reminded me so much of our time in Massachusetts before I moved to Kansas City, as well as all the music we grew up listening to as kids. I ain't got to tell you about dad's music collection! The show just brought back childhood memories like when you, Junie, Dicky, David and Kenny would come to the house. You'd wait til ma went to bingo, raid the liquor cabinet, turn on the music, grab the microphones, and sing and dance to the Delfonics as if you were them yourselves live in concert! Good times! These are memories I will hold on to. I have a lot of stories to share about you and you know I'll tell them. For now, though, I take comfort knowing you are with our Heavenly Father, as well as your 2 favorite women who you loved dearly, Ma and Nanny. That's why I know you're gonna be OK. You're in the best hands! Love ya now!

I have always felt the love the minute we would see each other, where ever it was, KY, Tampa, Vegas, etc.; especially in the background phone conversations. You always took the time to inquire about my life & sincerely cared. Whether this was true or not, you always referred to me as your 'favorite niecey' and it made me feel special. From a little girl, so many memories.

Will miss you..Love always

I have always seen a smile on your face. I can't remember a time where you were angry, sad, or upset (and I've been around for almost 9 years). I met my wife for the first time in your house and she always spoke highly of you. I saw how you provided, respected, protected, and loved your wife and kids. You were the true definition of a Real Man and I've admired you for many years. I'm proud to be apart of your family. May you rest easy. I love you Uncle Pete.

My dearest Peter Skeeter, Whitney Houston said it best, "I will always love you". I was so happy when Bonnie said I could take a plant home with me to Massachusetts. It was like taking a piece of you. I talk to you everyday and sometimes I let Cheryl talk to you too. I have to remind her that you were my favorite, so when she calls me, I give her some time to speak to you. I will continue to share a piece of my plant with her, which I named Peter Skeeter! Rest in Peace!

Footprints in the sand
it was all apart of Gods Master Plan
you came and served in this life
it was not in vain
nor out of spite
your life was full and truly blessed
and you always wished us the very best

the Lord has laid you down to sleep
forever you soul he will keep

we miss your laughs
we miss your hugs
because now your a spirit that resides up above

Dad you are, were, and always will be loved
but, your with the angels now which is how it should be

I'm satisfied THE LORD called you to peace. AMEN! (Your Angel Girl 1 of 3)

Pa,
We miss you so much. It's not the same getting ready for school since you left. We miss you chasing us around the house or watching Mickey Mouse over and over with us. Although we miss you a lot we feel you every morning when you blow the wind through the wind chimes on the porch. We send kisses to you every morning before school and every night before bed. We love you so much...your babies Lukie & Logie

Dad, Chico, Big Gambino...how do you say goodbye to someone who taught you everything. In the short time that I have had to say bye I have learned that I should be saying hello. Because I talk to you more now then it seems when you were here. So the conversation seems more one sided...but I do know when you don't agree. So your thoughts are not far they are still with us all and most of all with me. Your legacy can never be at an end. I will always love you, your oldest son.

As I read all the touching tributes to my brother, they make me smile! When I think of Pete, the one character trait that stands out to me was his strength. Pete lived in constant physical pain everyday. When I'd ask him how he was, his reply was always the same, "I'm great". His kind of pain woulf make the strongest man crumble. Not Pete. He always had that smile and that laugh that he do. I don't care how bad a day you had, all you had to do was see Pete with that smile and you couldn't help but smile yourself. His smile was so infectious, you could feel it through the phone, as was often the case with me. I love you brother! This smile is for you!!! :)

As I read all the touching tributes to my brother, they make me smile! Pete had such a big heart. There wasn't anyone he wouldn't reach out and help. Loved when I was little and visited Kentucky on my spring or summer break alot of my time was spent at Pete and Bonnies house.....When Pete came home from work at night well after we all fell asleep....he would check out the kitchen and if it wasn't clean he'd wake the girls up to do it right...I know then we hated it but we keep a better house now that we are older.

Pete always treated me like a neice and a daughter. He was a great family man

I love you uncle Pete and miss you Im so glad my daughter got to meet you. Rest in peace

We will continue loving your son (Spider) as hard as we can so that he can feel a portion of the love you showed us. Your chairs not the same since you been gone...but I know the Lord had a better seat for you. We love and miss you dearly! Love you always!

As I read all these touching testimonials for Pete, it makes me smile! Pete had such a big heart and would do anything for anybody. He was like a big ole teddy bear! The one characteristic that always stood out to me as far as Pete went, was his strength. When I'd ask him how he was doing, it was always the same response. I'm great, he would say! Pete had incredible chronic pain everyday, that would cause a strong man to crumble. Not Pete. He'd smile like he do and go on with his day without complaining. I admired that strength. The thing I will miss the most is his smile and that laugh that went with it. When he flashed that smile at you, didn't matter how bad a day you were having, you couldn't help but smile, too! I love you, Pete! This smile is for you! :)

My memories of my brother will live on through his wife and children whom he cherished. I will miss my brother Pete so much and will think of him everytime I heard the song "sweet-thing" He was one of the few who still called me my real nickname and pronounced it correctly!!! I can just see him still walking around with that bounce he had. "His Swag" He always brought light into the room with his appearance!! Wished your bears or patriots couldn't get it together for you just one last time. Now I know you will have the upper hand with the picks so send your sista some help next football season!!! Love to you, Pete!!!

We thought of you with love today.
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.

We love you Pa

I remember walking in a dark alley with my Dad as a young child and getting nervous, and I remember him grabbing me and holding me closer to him. My Dad was letting me know that he would always watch over me, and he always did, and he is still watching over me and my family but just in a better place. My Dad was a great dad he will surely be missed. We love him and may he rest in peace.
