Darrell Doyle Obituary

Doyle, Darrell Conrad,

62, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He was born in Ft. Knox, Kentucky and was an Electrician for Martinrea.

He was a member of the U.A.W. and the Harry R. Kendall Masonic Lodge #750.

Darrell was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Clark Doyle and a sister, Theresa Doyle.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Laurie Smith Doyle; sister-in-laws, Lisa Schied (David) and Jamie Valkovci (David) and brother-in-law, Scott Smith (Sandy). He is also survived by his favorite cat, Apache.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 9, 2017, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville.

Burial will be in Floydsburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 8, 2017, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers you may plant a tree in Darrell's memory, a contribution to Hosparus of Louisville or Kentucky Humane Society.

Laurie, we just learned of Darrell's passing today. We want you to know how very sorry we are for your great loss. Darrell was such a friendly person and always went out of his way to speak to you. He will be missed by us also.

I was deeply saddened today to hear about Darrell passing I remember him fondly visit him at several places that he lived before and after he and Lori were married he was a great guy a true friend back in the day I haven't seen him so many years Beckie Tucker Snyder told me just a few minutes ago and I was sharing with her that Daryl inspired me in so many ways about music and Stereos Hypertech Lee still listen to John klemmer touch which Darrell had back then and I've had ever since may he rest in peace and I'm sending my prayers and my thoughts are with Laurie and his family

This is a true loss to all of us and especially to Laurie whom we all know he loved very much. Darrell was like a brother to me in high school - always joking and laughing and always having time for a friend who needed him. Deepest sympathy to Laurie and his family. We are all richer to have known him.
