Donald Bowman Obituary
82, passed away Sunday September 27, 2015.
Don was a retired Louisville Police detective. He was a member of the FOP #6, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and he served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Bowman; and a granddaughter, Ashley Smith.
He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 54 years, Yveline J. Bowman; son, Edward J. Bowman; and daughter, Patricia A. Smith; grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher and Nicholas Bowman and Kelli and Alexander Smith.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6105 South Third Street with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Drive.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the KY and So. Indiana Stroke Association.
