Dorsey, Donald Montez,

37, passed away on August 12, 2014.

He is survived by his children, Donald Jr., Donquez, Donasia, Reagan, and Gabriel Dorsey, and Kevon Fields; mother, Annie Mae Conley, father, Donald K. Jones; siblings; Regina Glasser (Robert), Donesha Beeler, Michael Dorsey, Dion and D'Shawn Robertson; and very special friend, Sharika Howie.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church, 1501 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery. Arrangements by Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons, 951 S. Preston Street.

Dorsey Family, please know that Don was a special person in our home. He treated me as if I were his biological son and loved my sisters and mother with all his heart. I will truly miss him, our talks, Family Guy and Scrabble time, and his priceless reaction to seeing "Dracula" at Actors with us. I would have been honored for him to be my Step-dad! My entire family and I love and miss him! May his family be uplifted by knowing how loved he was!
