Donald Lee Jones

JONES, DONALD LEE, 70, entered eternal rest Sunday, November 30, 2008. He was a retired senior chief petty officer from the U.S. Navy having served in the Vietnam War. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard, VA, and was a member of Victory Memorial Baptist Church. Don was a member of Moose Lodge #898 Portsmith VA , American Legion Lodge #229 Iroquois, life time member VFW Post 6182, Louisville, KY, and a member of Male High Alumni Assoc. Class of 1956. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Paul and Elizabeth Shawley Jones. He is survived by his daughters, Robin Lee Jones of High Point, NC and Donna Leann Zullo (Ernest) of Charlotte, NC; his grandson, Joshua Paul Zullo; his sister, Shirley Topmiller; and his loving friend, Janice Oliver. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Pearson's 149 Breckenridge Lane, with burial and military honors in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Wednesday.
