Clark, Edith Mabel,

Edith Mabel Clark, 96, of La Porte passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at La Porte Millers Health and Rehab.

Mabel was born in Louisville, KY, on June 23, 1920 to Joel Louis and Jo Willie (Busch) Campbell.

On August 3, 1946 in Louisville, KY, she married Norris Alford Clark who preceded her in death. Surviving are her beloved children, Linda (Dan) Tarnow of La Porte and Judy Cundiff Hamilton of West Terre Haute; 5 grandchildren, Jordan, William, and Andrew Cundiff, Martha Fuerst, and Mary Katherine "Katie" (Cotey) Barnhart; 7 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Marjorie Hines of Louisville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, William Dwight Clark; grandson, John Tarnow; brothers, Stanley and John Campbell; and sister, Martha Winters-Goodlet.

Mabel was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m. (EST) on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, KY. Local arrangements have been handled by Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the donor's choice.
