Edward Tipton Obituary
He was a retired employee of Cardinal Aluminum and a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by two children, Andrew and Amanda Tipton; one sister, Jackie Tipton; his stepmother, Ruby Tipton and step-siblings; a niece and nephew, along with a host of cousins, including James Ansel Parrott (Phyllis) and Junie and families.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or Kosair Charities.

Eddie was one of the most gentle and kind persons I have ever known. Always ready to make your day brighter with his laugh and his great attitude. At church in our singles group many years ago, he, myself and one other gentleman were the 3 musketeers............Lost contact with Eddie which I regret, but we all have lives. God Bless his family, I know he is in God's loving arms now!
