Louisville - 36, passed away on July 22, 2018.
Betsy was born on November 21, 1981 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Betsy was a Kentucky Girl Scout Gold Award Recipient. She graduated from Mercy Academy in 2001, and attended Spencerian College. She worked for Highlands Community Ministries Daycare Center.
Betsy is survived by her parents, Jim and Alexis (VonRoenn) Stevenson; fiancé, Brett Goodson; brother, Clark Stevenson; great-aunt, Mary Ann Klemenz; Godmother, Renee VonRoenn; and Godfather, Dr. W. Gregory VonRoenn; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved cat, Betsie.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). Her funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church (1000 N. Beckley Station Rd. Louisville, KY 40245), with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In loving memory of Betsy, memorial donations may be made to Friends of Patients at the National Institute of Health (PO Box 34139, Bethesda, MD 20827)

Rick and I are heartbroken about Betsy's passing and Sarah is absolutely devastated. Betsy was truly Sarah's best friend. Our prayers are with you during this most difficult time. We pray God will ease your pain and in time the beautiful memories of precious Betsy will comfort you.
