Ferdinand Dehne Obituary

Ferdinand G.W. Dehne, 83, of Hanover County, VA, formerly of Louisville, died Monday, March 8, 2004. Mr. Dehne was a retired employee of General Electric and a World War II veteran. He was a child of God of Jesus Christ, a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Louisville and attended Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Ashland, VA. He was the son of the late Louise Lorenz and Ferdinand Dehne, widower of Gertrude Stephens Dehne and brother of the late Richard Dehne. He is survived by four sons, John Dehne and his wife, Carol, of Andover, MA, Ferd Dehne and his wife, Carrie, of Glen Allen, VA, Ralph Dehne and his wife, Dory, of St. Louis, MO, and Carl Dehne and his wife, P.J., of Chesapeake, VA; six grandchildren, Phillip, Christine, Sara, Jennifer, Emily and Joshua; two great-grandchildren, Jack and Maceo; and two brothers, Clarence Dehne and his wife, Carol, of Brighton, MI, and Edwin Dehne and his wife, Catherine, of New Buffalo, MI. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2004, at Faith Lutheran Church, 7635 Old Third Street Road in Louisville. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
