Still think of you often. We had so many fun telephone conversations. I will never forget almost every time I stayed at the beach condo some major appliance would break and I would have to call you. You said I was the only person you knew who could tear up a steel anvil. I miss you my friend.

It is with such sadness I write this. Got to know GW at the Bonito Condos. Him and Garnett were such a sweet couple. Every evening at sunset they would walk down the beach together. I starting renting the condo from him when my children were small. I called him several times a years just to joke with each other and catch up. He was truly a sweet man. I called last week he was on my mind and found that he had passed. My heart breaks I didn't get to speak with him at least one more time. RIP GW, you were one of the most delightful people I have ever met. Prayers to your family, you will be surly missed.

I didn't get to know GW until a few years ago, but I'm so glad that I met him. He was a generous and entertaining fellow. We enjoyed visiting him when we were in Louisville.

Sorry for your loss! It's been a long time since I've seen him, but he's a special man you can't forget.
When your car goes phoohey, call Toohey! Who could forget that. Rest in peace you trail blazer.

I remember well the old logo, "If your car goes phooey, call Toohey!" I remember that if Toohey's Auto Parts did not have it, nobody else wound have it.

An era has passed.

Our sincere sympathy to the family.

R.I.P., GW was a great person.I got my start in auto parts at Toohey's back in 1966 after which I went to work at Cooke Pontiac. Bought a lot of race motor parts from him for our 69 GTO Judge that he contributed to!
