Gerald Weber Obituary
Gerald C. Weber age 91 of Lynnview passed away Monday March 14, 2016. He was a proud World War II Army veteran who wrote a book about his experiences, charter member of Okolona Christian Church, member of the Louisville Photographic Society. He retired from Naval Ordnance. He is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Gladys (Weedman) Weber; children, Anyce (Clarence) Day, Charlene (Garnett) Grant, Jennifer (Avery) Hancock, Doug (Melanie) Weber, Brenda (Jim) Russo, Lelia (Ralph Scott) Herp; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Watseka Hanna, Wenonah Barringer, and Yvonne Goh.
Funeral service is Monday, March 21, 2016 11:00am with graveside service at 2:00pm at the Kentucky Veterans Central Cemetery 2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff KY 40160. Visitation will be Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd).Expressions of sympathy may be made to Okolona Christian Church, 10801 Faithful Way, Louisville, KY 40229.

My prayers go out to the entire family. My Dad, Billy Joe Weber, was Gerald's 1st cousin. I have some of the work that Gerald did on the Weber family tree and I decided to try and get in touch. I can't believe I waited too long and missed a chance to talk to the wonderful man that cared so much about the history of his family.

Mrs. Weber and family, please accept my condolences. Mr. & Mrs. Weber were like my adopted parents when I lived next door to them for 20 years. I could not have asked for better neighbors. I love you both and will miss you teasing me . You all are in my prayers.
