Heinz Peter Becker

LOUISVILLE - Heinz Peter Becker, 82, passed away on May 7, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born in Fischbach, Germany on March 11, 1939 to the late Adam and Katharina Becker. Heinz immigrated to the United States in 1963 to join his oldest sister, Frieda, and her husband, Abe Jakubowicz, who immigrated 6 year earlier. He became a proud U.S. citizen in 1974.

Heinz worked as a brick mason for Omicron for many years. He was a kind, soft spoken man who loved animals, especially cats, and enjoyed working in his yard. Those who knew him well enjoyed his quick wit and sense of humor. He was a gentleman and a gentle man.

In addition to his parents, Heinz is predeceased by his 3 sisters, Frieda, Anna and Gisela. He leaves behind his daughter, Lisa Becker, and his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A memorial service and private burial were held at Cave Hill Cemetery on May 12, 2021.

The family would like to thank Heinz's next door neighbors in Watterson Acres Subdivision, Sharon and the late Tom Fisher and Priscilla and Bill Becker, who were always so kind to him.
