Henry Pleasant Obituary
He was a retired retail salesman for Royal Jewelers, a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church and the Robert E. Newman VFW Post.
He was also a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry J. Sr. and Virginia Carver Pleasant.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Susan M. Pleasant; sons, David Pleasant and Jack Pleasant III; daughter, Angie Pleasant; grandchildren, Craig, Alexander, Jacquie and Hailey Pleasant and numerous nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2009 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.
Donations may be made to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206

There are soooooo many stories I can't start or end with out a big grin. They are ALL good and that's a funny, very unusual gift and what made Hank, Hank. Never, never was there a moment Hank disappointed. That is my mental memory of THE HANKSTER.
God Bless him and comfort those who mourn him today. We love him and will miss him.

Texas Hold'em Table Best Poker Face "Hank"
