Joan was one of those special teachers that could be both firm and loving. My son just blosssomed in her class. Her legacy will live on in all the lives she touched. Our family and our community has been blessed to have known, worked with and been taught by Mrs. Conrad.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs.
Conrad while she taught at Sandusky
Ele School. I will forever remember her for her style of teaching and the stylish way she dressed. Also,
she made a lasting impression in my
son's life...Our prayers are with
you during this time.

I had Joan while a student at St. Francis of Rome and at Presentation Academy. She was a joy to see running in the halls, and I always loved those short skirts of hers. She had a kind and gently soul and I will miss her.

She was a class act and wonderful lady. I dated her during High School and took her to the Senior Prom. She stayed with an Aunt in L-ville and the next day we went on a picnic. (Her idea) Many great memories.I am so sorry to hear about Joan and my prayers go out to the Conrad/Geoghegan families

I always had so much fun and enjoyed visiting with Joan when she was in town. I know how much my mom and the rest of the Bardstown girls will miss her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

What a class act lady! She was a teacher at Presentation Academy when I attended there in the late seventies. I remember her distinctly because she was such a sweet person and very attractive lady. She was very outgoing and proper. My condolences to all of her family. Jeanne Mattingly (Presentation Academy Class of 1979)

I AM SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT JOAN.I WAS A TEACHER AT ST MARTHA SCHOOL IN 1972. JOAN WAS A BRIGHT AND CHEERFUL MEMBER OF OUR FACULTY.
I ALWAYS ENJOYED TALKING TO HER AND SHE HAD A WONDERFUL PERSONALITY. IT WAS A WONDERFUL TIME TO BE A TEACHER AT ST MARTHA AND SHE WAS A VALUABLE PART OF OUR SCHOOL. I LEFT TEACHING AT THE END OF THE 1978-1979 SCHOOL YEAR. THE EXPERIENCE I HAD AT ST MARTHA SCHOOL WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY TEACHING CAREER. THANK YOU JOAN FOR ALL THE GOOD MEMORIES. SINCERELY, TOM HAGAN

We are very sorry to hear that beautiful Joan has passed. Joan had a heart of gold and was very kind to anyone that she met. We are grateful that we were able to know her and we wish her family well. She is at peace we pray.
