John Lawson Obituary

LAWSON, JOHN JOSEPH, 68, of Louisville, passed away Sunday August 4, 2013.

He was a member of Saint Brigid Catholic Church, and a retired United States postal worker.

He was preceded in death by his loving companion, Francine Humphrey; and sisters, Catherine Lawson Haag and Margret Ferol Lawson. He is survived by his nephew Charles K. Haag III (Charlotte); nieces, Debbie Haag Davis (David), Kathy Haag Threedouble (Rick) and Diane Haag Davis (Mike); and two great-nieces, Amy Wilkerson (Rob) and Katie Boyte (John).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Brigid Catholic Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or The Humane Society.
