Joseph Murphy Obituary
Louisville - Joe Murphy, 87, died peacefully in his sleep on August 1. He is survived by his children, Deborah Hickey, Keith Ray, Kevin Ray, Theresa Jean Murphy and predeceased by son James Murphy. He is also survived by his sister Cleta Angel, and his brothers Jerry Murphy and Eddie Murphy. He had 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation is Sunday, August 8, from 2-6 p.m. at Ratterman's, 7336 Southside Dr. and Funeral Mass on Monday, August 9, at 10 a.m. at Mount Carmel Church.

We are sorry for your family´s loss of their father, grandpa & daughter-in-law. We will miss him also as he was our friend & neighborhood watch person. He helped the newspaper lady & put our Newspaper on our porch. He put our garbage can back near our house after the Trash was picked up. He was the best guy. He is in heaven now with the Lord & that is comforting to know. We´ll always think of you Joe & thank you for being our super friend & neighbor.
