I remember Joe's first day at Warrenton in the early sixties. His family had made the trip with him. A real nice guy.

I pray for Joe and for all of you in the family...Diane and Gina, and Teresa and Joe's brothers and families. It has to be sad to let go of someone whom you dearly love. You now have someone in heaven who will most certainly continue to love each and all of you.
I have many happy memories of teaching fellows like Joe in our Passionist Seminary in Warrenton, MO.

My sincerest condolences to all of the family. Sixty years ago I came to the Passionist Fathers seminary, Mother of Good Council, in Warrenton, Missouri. That was when I first met Joe, a gentle giant with a smile that wouldn't stop. We lived side by side, learning, praying, playing, and causing havoc on the football field. Joe stood out as a leader and a friend. When I look back on those years it was often Joe's face that came to mind, the twinkle in his eye and that smile. His image never failed to warm my heart and soul. My only regret is that I could not stand in his presence one more time. He will be missed by all of who shared those years with him.
