Joyce Hack Obituary
Louisville - Joyce Meyers Hack, one of God's beloved saints, made her transition to eternal life on January 17, 2021. Born April 30, 1933 to Ailene Cummins in Louisville, Kentucky, Joyce's life was a testament of strength, resilience, unwavering faith and unconditional love to all who knew her. She lived more fully into the meaning of her name, "Joyous One," than anyone we know, freely sharing her infectious joy, laughter and love of life with everyone she met.
Joyce is survived by her daughter and primary caregiver Roxanne, her sons Stephen and John-Mark, grandchildren Shannon, Ashley, Nathan, Caitlyn, Joshua, Benjamin, Elijah, Sarah and Shiloh, and great-grandchildren Haley, Ian, Myles and Mila. She is also survived by cousins R.B. Arnett and Betsy Ice, brother Tim Meyers, many other family members who were precious to her, and a great multitude of dear friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 24, 2PM - 7PM at Owen Funeral Home on Dixie Highway in Louisville. A private celebration of life for family will take place at 11AM, Monday, January 25 at Hillview Community Church, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Friendship International Ministry.

Joyce was the director of Friendship International from 2005-2007. She had loving concern for the people of the World. "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10. She was a vessel of God´s love pointing people to her Savior, Jesus Christ. We were blessed by her leadership. We will be praying for her family in the days ahead. Donna Martin

I worked with Joyce at U of L Speed School and know how dedicated she was to the students. She was a very caring, kind person. My prayers go out to her family.

In 2005 Joyce and <br />I were part of a group teaching English in China. She had been before and was a great help to me. This mango tree pic was taken on the military base where we stayed.
