Julia Wright Obituary
She was born in Tolu, KY. She was a caregiver for most of her life, a member of Jeffersontown United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star Southern Star Chapter #154.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Wright.
She is survived by her children, Peyton Wright and Diane Eckler (Steve); brother, James Richard Shepherd; sisters Anna Peyton Markham and Alma Ruth Welker; grandchildren, Sarah and Brian Eckler.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Wednesday at her church. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home- Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Burial is in Resthaven Cemetery.
Donations may go to Hospice of Nelson County, KY.

Diane and Peyton,
May God be with you and your families in this time of loss. I loved Judy and Bill as if they were family. Judy always had a smile on her face and Bill always had a hug for everyone he met.
Judy always tickled me because whenever she had to introduce Bill at Eastern Star she could never remember his name. We laughed about that many times.
The world is a lesser place without these 2 faithful servants. But I know they are together in Heaven. I'll miss you both!

Now all of the Shepherd siblings of that generation are reunited in a simpler kinder place. I hear them all laughing as they did in life, full of joy and pure love.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great sadness. Both Judy and Bill were such inspirations to me and were almost like a second mother and father. I loved both of them dearly. Judy, enjoy being with Bill in heaven. I know he has been waiting for you to join him.

Peyt and Diane, my heart goes out to you. Your mother's quiet joy in life was an inspiration to me. Her wry sense of humor and genuine smile were a bright spot in my childhood. Bless you all.

This wonderfully, sweet lady will be missed by all. She has touched our lives in ways I'm sure she never knew. Much love to her children, Diane and her family and Peyt. I am certain there was a glorious reunion in heaven! So glad that Aunt Judy is with her Sweetheart once again and with her sister and friend, my Mother.
