Keith, Kenny, Kurt, Karen and Kerry,
It is with sadness that I received word of Kevin's passing.
Being the first of the 32 of us cousins to leave carries a significant weight on all of our hearts. Even though the times we remember we're the early years , from childhood to high school, the memories of those times were great. Family outings with so many of us cousins left deeply planted memories that never fade. One of the character traits that I will most remember is his ability to naturally command attention. When Kevin spoke.....people listened.....a great trait we would all like to have learned from him.
In the years after high school when cousins seldom see each other except for weddings, funerals, and an occasional crossing Kevin always had a genuine interest in the world of others. He was a good listener and always showed interest in what others were doing in life. So I stand proud in the privilege of having Kevin as my cousin.

To you Kevin I give a full salute to a job well done!

Today I feel such sadness as we say so long to someone who was a great part of my life. So many memories of my younger years just keep rushing into my thoughts of him and I and what once was. He gave me two of my most precious gifts in my life and thats our two beautiful and loving children. He was so proud of them and hopefully that will always be in their hearts. I'm sure you will be a great guardian angel because you loved sharing the word. I'm just so sorry it had to end here on earth so soon for you and Linda. God must have another plan for you. Sending you my love as we try to celebrate your life even with tears, the time we all spent with you.

Rest in Peace my Cat Daddy!

My sincere condolences to the family and to you Linda. My cousin Kevin did indeed exude a special warmth and gentleness. I was comforted when he took my mother's place in her condo after she died, but now I am sad that we never got to visit him after he moved in. I will say that as we passed each other several times, in the transition, as we were moving mom's things out and he was moving in, I felt a very positive vibe. It was a peaceful, easy feeling. I will always remember that.

To all the family and to you Linda, my heartfelt condolences. My cousin Kevin did indeed exude a warmth and special gentleness that I will miss. I really took comfort when he took my mother's place in her condo after she died. I was so happy about that, and now so sad that we never got back there to visit him after he moved in. I can say that when we were making that transition, and we were passing each other, as we were moving mom's things out and he was moving his things in, I felt a positive vibe emanating from him, on the several occasions our paths crossed. I will always remember him for that. It was a peaceful, easy feeling.

I will always remember his exuberence, joy and gratitude at again chairing a Wednesday noon meeting recently after the aniversery of his return. A person who had found peace and gratitude. We enjoyed his presence at the meeting after the meeting at Skyline. He cared deeply about his family and associations ( particularly AA & St X ). He is missed but will be much remembered as the "Come Back Kid".

We journeyed with Kevin on his way back to one year sober at the Token III Club. He found a deep spiritual center in that one year and was a very happy man. He chaired last week, and gave back to us all. Home Group Member Wednesday at Noon. Alice
