Dear Sam and family: I have very fond memories of Larry and how he loved to play basketball. Larry was a regular player during the 56, 57 and 58 seasons at Georgetown High School. He was a most valued member of the team. His last game in 1958 was a thriller and we nearly beat New Albany in the Sectional. I always considered Larry to be a true Bearcat. Larry was very close to Joe Sinex, Ken Hottell, Charles Sarles and Herb Brightwell. I will not soon forget those years and what Larry meant to me. I talked a length to Larry at the 2006 High School Reunion. He seemed to be at peace with himself. A classmate of mine, Joe Carter said, Larry has a heart of gold and I hope to remember Larry just like that. May Larry rest in Peace. Warm regards, Joseph A. Pezzullo, Ph.D
