Lorene Goss Obituary

GOSS, LORENE SUTTON, 91, widow of George Goss and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008. Born in Breckenridge County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Eva Sutton. She was a member of Fern Creek United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Lorene Goss; her sister, Lester Mae Irvin; and her brother, Howard Sutton. She is survived by her daughter, Francene Kasper and son-in-law Jerold Kasper; grandchildren, Gwendolyn Kay Thomason (Frank) and Jeremy Joseph Kasper (Kelli); and great-grandchildren, Brandon and Matthew Sidebottom and Peyton Kasper. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the WHAS Crusade for Children.

It is people like Lorene Sutton Goss who have made it possible for the WHAS Crusade for Children to help over 3 million children since 1954. Her legacy will be seen for years to come in the lives of these children with special needs.

I am sorry for your loss.
