Marilyn Nelson Obituary

LEXINGTON NELSON, MARILYN JOAN, 75, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004, in Lexington. She was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, the daughter of the late Wesley Todd and Ruelita Snyder Hansen. She was the widow of Harry A. Nelson. Surviving are three sons and five daughters, Lori Nelson (J.B.) of Birmingham, AL, Joni A. Nelson (Gerhard) of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, Harry Todd Nelson (Dena) of Louisville, Cindy R. Johnson (Terrance) of Taylorsville, KY, Wesley Alvin Nelson (Karen) of Lexington, Christy R. Heard (Phillip) of Prospect, KY, Amy B. Penticuff (Darryl) of Winchester, KY, and Jim L. Nelson (Pam) of Boston, KY, and 16 grandchildren, Patrick Carter, Nelson, Ryan, Meredith, Erin, Justin, Wesley, Logan, Marilee, Laura, Allison, Leah, Dalton, Evan, Jordan and Lindsey. "Her valiant heart was finally stilled, but her love lives on." Her funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at W. R. Milward Mortuary-Southland, conducted by Rev. Steve Crosby. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of the service. Casketbearers will be Harry Nelson, Wesley Nelson, Jim Nelson, Nelson Heard, Ryan Penticuff and Justin Penticuff.
