Marla Bisig Obituary
Louisville - Marla C. Bisig, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 21, 2018. She retired from The University of Louisville and The Jefferson County Board of Education. She was a member of Valley View Church.
Marla was born on April 11, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Herman and Dorothy Sharfe. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, David W. Bisig.
Marla is survived by her daughters, April C. Judd (Josh), and Michelle M. Mingus (Josh), her sister, Paulette Ross (Jim), and her brother, Herman Sharfe (Linda), and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A celebration of her life will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.

I loved Marla. She and my brother David had many happy times with family & friends. I was blessed to visit with her in December and cherish our time spent talking of children and her special dog Rosie. She will be so missed.
