Nancy Buttons Obituary

BUTTON, NANCY JOYCE, 64, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at her residence in Crestwood, KY.

She was a faithful member of the Crestwood Second Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many positions of responsibilities including Relief Society Presidencies, and taught in the Sunday School, Primaries, and Young Women's organization. She also baked a cake for President Ezra Taft Benson's 50th wedding anniversary.

Mrs. Button won numerous blue ribbons at the Kentucky State Fair for her cake decorating skills. She was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Button She leaves to cherish her memory her dear husband, Robert Button Sr.; sons, Robert Button Jr. (Michelle) , Bruce Button (Elizabeth), David Button, Daniel Button (Crissy), Jonathan Button (Anne) and Richard Button (Jessie); her father, Henry H. Griffith; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Frank Button; sisters and brother, Janice Clark (Rick), Diana McVicker (Pat), Cheryl Jones (Cliff), Barbara Anderson, (Gordon), Brenda Darlington (Lowery), Ron Griffith and Donna Griffith; nine grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at the LDS Chapel, 6401 Westwind Way in Crestwood where services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.

Dear Bob,
