Nancy Crutcher Obituary

Nancy Lee Crutcher

Nancy Lee Crutcher, born March 10, 1951, left this life to return to her Savior on December 23, 2020. She was the fourth of six children born to Jack and Carolyn (Landers) Crutcher. She leaves behind five siblings: Etta-Lo Crutcher, Jack Crutcher (Debbie), Jill Reynolds, John Crutcher, and James Crutcher, as well as dearly loved nieces, Jill Doyle (Clarence) and Rebecca Zwanzig (Stephen), and nephews, Eric Ruffra and John Reynolds. She adored her two great nieces, Anna Ruffra and Lucy Doyle, as well as a great nephew, Alex Ruffra. There are many cousins and a host of friends who will miss her greatly.

Nancy was a unique individual with diverse interest and talents. We will celebrate her life on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Olive Branch United Methodist in Shelbyville, Kentucky, at 2:00 pm. Please wear your happiest outfit and be prepared to share a Nancy story, after the service, on the church grounds. Cards will be provided. Covid may have taken her from us, but nothing will erase memories of a life truly well lived.

Donations may be made to Dare to Care or The Heifer Fund International.

Please contact the family for directions or additional information.

I think Nancy had a way of sensing who needed a hello or kind word or do you want to sit with us.

A good soul that I and many others will miss.

My dear friend, Nancy, was a special person to me. She introduced herself to me at the Milestone swimming pool when I joined there. I immediately felt her sincere warmth towards me. I am deeply saddened with this loss and especially for her siblings. May she rest in peace.
