Owen Merito Faust

Owen Merito "Ree" Faust, 82, of Louisville, died Wednesday at his residence. He was born in Louisville on March 7, 1921, a retired plumber and a member of Plumber's Union Local #107, St. Paul's Catholic Church and Kentucky Auctioneer's Association. He was preceded in death by his son, Conrad H. Faust. He is survived by his wife the former Phoebe DeRolph; one son, Erick (Debra) Faust; two daughters, Diann (Bud) Kannapel and Pat (Bill) Rogers; one brother, Fred Faust; one daughter-in-law, Lynn Faust; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Hwy., with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at family-owned Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Memorial gifts may be made to Harbor House of Louisville or Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville.
