Pat we had so many fun times and made some wonderful memories in high school. I remember when you were running for Miss Southern my Mom worked at the Preston drive-in and she popped up big boxes of pop corn and we sold it on the loading dock after school. All the parties and our TRIP to Lexington. I hate that after we graduated we did not stay in touch, but when we did meet up again we had so much fun catching up on everything we missed. I miss you my dearest friend. Love and hugs to you in Heaven.

Aunt Marg am so sorry I couldnt attend the funeral of Patsy. The weather was bad and I cant see to drive at night and with Eddie having his diease I couldnt leave him by himself. It was a shock to here about her,I know her health wasnt doing good for awhile and you and the family have been very strong to being there for her.I know how that is,with Eddie having this muscle diease and I almost loss him a couple of times too, it is not only hard on the one who is ill, but the caregivers that love her and see her going down it is hard,Patsy was always so cheerful, kind and loving and I will always remeber how sweet she was to me,she had such a sweet personality, warm smile, and she always made me feel good about myself when I was around her,I want you to know that I will never forget her. Eddie and I send our love to you and the family. You are in are in our prayers.

I meet Pat thru an appt she had with a physician. I worked there and she came in a couple of times trying to find a home for a dog she found at a local park. Another staff member sent her to me knowing I had several acres; I accepted to pick the dog up at her home. She said he was a puppy; my son rode with me and we pulled up and I said oh that must be the mother tied to the tree not knowing labs were such big puppies. We took him home and Pat supplied us with food/toys and he is the most lovable dog which we still have today. Some time ago I called Pat she was in rehab and she apologized for not remembering me when I called. I preceded to tell her the story of getting the dog a few years prior from her; she began remembering many details; who I was and where I lived and family. She even remembered we went on vacation and the dog had an injury. She kept him several days and took him to the vet for stitches. She said I was her memory angel as she had not made any progress with such detail in awhile. I only knew her briefly; but she was the most caring individual and sweetest person. I send my prayers to her family. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet such a wonderful lady.

We planned on paying our respects to Pat tonight, but the weather prevented that. Pat and I had so much fun together all through high school, but over the years we lost contact. Two years ago we reunited at our SHS lunches. We hugged and laughed and she was as bubbly as ever. We are so sad her time has been cut short. Pat was very close to her church and God. In His infinite wisdom, He has chosen to not allow her to suffer for years with this terrible disease. We will miss her terribly, but we know she is in heaven and whole again.

What a wonderful lady Pat was - always happy and bubbly, she will be missed by so many, especially at the Archer gatherings where she was so much fun. Fond memories of her when my children were younger, she was such a dear to them. She will be sadly missed, taken much too soon!

Pat, we will miss you so much. The greatest pain belongs to your beloved mother, who has had to bury 3 of her babies. May your family feel God's love wrapped in the arms of family and friends as you are comforted by time.

A week before she died I read Pat II Cor. 4:16-18. "So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal." She had tears in her eyes as I finished. I asked her if she was trusting in Christ alone for her salvation and she nodded yes.
As a neighbor turned friend, Pat's kindness and generosity knew no limits. Our family will miss her.

I've been blessed to know Pat for many years. It saddens me to have lost a friend so soon. Pat, was loved by so many people. She will be truly missed.
I know what it is like, losing a mother. A person who gave you birth and the person who has been there for you no matter what the situation may be, either good or bad. She was there.
May God Bless the family during this time of sorrow.
