Paul John Taylor

Louisville - Paul John Taylor, known as P. John by loved ones, and P. Pa by his grandsons, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2021, in Louisville Kentucky.

The only son of 5 children, Mr. Taylor was born on December 30, 1939, to Marie Largay Taylor and Paul Taylor, and raised in Clark Summit, PA

Mr. Taylor attended Scranton Prep school in 1958 and received a Bachelor's degree from Villanova University in 1962. He served seven years in the Peace Corps in the Philippines, Morocco, and Washington DC.

For 19 years Mr. Taylor was married to Sandy Aronsohn Taylor. As children, they lived five 5 miles apart, although they would not meet until years later.

Mr. Taylor led the Philadelphia area engineering firm McCormick Taylor, growing the team from 25 to 100 employees.

Mr. Taylor will be remembered for his warmth and ability to connect with people on each of the continents he traveled. He will be remembered for his heart of gold, and for being a devoted father and grandfather.

Most importantly, he is remembered by his 10 year old grandson, Leif, for His overwhelming kindness and by his 14 year old grandson, Jonathan, for his monthly care packages.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his only son, and daughter-in-law, Chris and Sarah Taylor. He is also survived by his sisters Terry Stacy and Ann Meehan.
